Dr. Olga Kharevich is surgically trained prosthodontist practicing in Hollywood, Florida. Her interest in a career in oral surgery and Prosthodontics started during her training in Northern State Medical University in Russia.
Through that unique experience, she was afforded the opportunity of having first hand exposure to the treatment of patients with advanced restorative and surgical cases through the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This sparked a long journey which lead Dr. Kharevich, with her dental and research background, to complete her surgical training in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Russia.
She went on to obtain her PhD degree in dental materials at Umea University in Sweden and the Medical Military Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. It was during that period of time her eyes were opened to the exciting world of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dentistry. After completing her OMFS training, Dr. Kharevich set out on a path for additional prosthodontic training. This was achieved by completing further training in prosthodontics at Nova South-Eastern University.
She then embraced her knowledge and skills and entered a Dental Fellowship Program under the directorship of Dr. Anthony Sclar, a world renowned Oral Surgeon. The wealth of experience Dr. Kharevich acquired from working with Dr. Sclars’ advanced restorative and implant surgery cases has provided her excellent command of the foundation and skills needed to perform both complex surgical and restorative reconstructive procedures. This includes head and neck cancer rehabilitation, dental implant surgery procedures, hard and soft tissue implant site development and tissue engineering procedures, periodontal surgeries and all types of prosthetic rehabilitation. It also includes the management of patients presenting with a wide range of implant complications.
Her focus then turned to “Total Facial Esthetics” currently one of the fastest-growing and exciting dimensions in dentistry. Total Facial Esthetics is the integration of Botox and dermal filler use in today’s dental treatment planning.
Dr. Kharevich has a very comfortable and relaxed manner which put her patients at ease. She has seen by enhancing a person’s smile the improvement in both their self-esteem and confidence and feels privileged to be able to play a part in this transformation. Through her extensive training she has acquired strong surgical and restorative skills placing her a step ahead in the field of esthetic dentistry, thus allowing her to offer a full scope of esthetic and reconstructive dental surgery procedures, including non-invasive facial rejuvenation.
